Will Do It ("we", "us", or "our") provides a family task-management application designed for use by households. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use our services ("Services").

The Services are intended for use by a parent or legal guardian (the "Account Holder") and their family members, including children. The Account Holder creates and controls the account and is responsible for all data within it.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

In Short: We collect only the information necessary to operate the Services.

Information provided by users

  • Full name, display name, or nickname
  • Email address (Account Holder only)
  • Date of birth
  • Authentication credentials, including password and access PINs
  • Family or group name
  • Profile icon or avatar selected by the user
  • Tasks, achievements, rewards, comments, and other content created in the App

Information collected automatically

  • Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, and platform
  • Application identifiers, such as the Firebase Installation ID
  • IP address and limited usage, diagnostic, and performance data
  • Approximate location, such as country or city-level location derived from IP address
  • Device tokens used to deliver push notifications
  • Time zone and calendar preferences used for task scheduling, reminders, recurring tasks, weekly cycles, and notifications

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone data, camera data, biometric data, health data, or data from device sensors. We do not collect the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID), and the AD_ID permission is removed from our Android app manifest.

2. WHY DO WE COLLECT DATE OF BIRTH?

We collect date of birth only for the following purposes:

  • To allow the Account Holder to confirm they are at least 18 years old when creating the account.
  • To enable in-household birthday notifications between members of the same family group.

Date of birth is not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, third-party content targeting, sale, or sharing outside the household.

3. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY AND PARENTAL CONTROL

In Short: The App is designed for family use. A parent or legal guardian creates and controls the account.

Only an Account Holder aged 18 or older may create an account. By creating an account, the Account Holder confirms that they are a parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile is added and that they consent to the collection, use, and storage of the child’s information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Children’s profiles are part of the Account Holder’s account and are not independent accounts. Children do not authenticate directly with Firebase Authentication and do not provide an email address to us.

Children’s profile information may include a name or nickname, date of birth, profile icon, personal access PIN, tasks, rewards, achievements, and scheduling information.

We do not display advertising, do not use children’s data for advertising or profiling, and do not allow communication with people outside the household.

The Account Holder may review, correct, or delete any child profile at any time through the App or by contacting us.

4. HOW DO WE USE INFORMATION?

We use information to:

  • Create, authenticate, and manage the Account Holder account
  • Create and manage family-member profiles
  • Operate tasks, achievements, rewards, reminders, recurring tasks, and household notifications
  • Deliver push notifications requested or enabled by the user
  • Calculate and display dates, time zones, weekly cycles, and notification timing accurately
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve app stability
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use a limited set of service providers to operate the App:

  • Firebase Authentication — account creation, authentication, and security for the Account Holder.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications and storage of device tokens for that purpose only.
  • Firebase Analytics — product usage and reliability analytics, with advertising features disabled.
  • Firebase Crashlytics — crash and stability diagnostics.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising. We do not use personal data for cross-app tracking. We do not collect personal data from third-party sources.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law.

When an account or profile is deleted, associated data is deleted or anonymized, except for limited records that may be retained where required by law, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

7. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, secure storage practices, and access controls. PINs are stored using non-reversible cryptographic techniques.

However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent.

The Account Holder may exercise privacy rights on behalf of children and other family members whose profiles are managed within the account.

9. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION

You may permanently delete your account and associated data at any time:

  • In the App: Open the App and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • By email: Send a request to willdoittech@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.

Account deletion removes the account, all profiles, tasks, achievements, rewards, scheduling data, time-zone data, push notification tokens, and authentication credentials, subject to limited retention where required by law or for security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

The Account Holder may also delete an individual child or family-member profile without deleting the entire account.

10. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Your information may be processed and stored on servers outside your country of residence, including servers operated by Google / Firebase. Where required by law, appropriate transfer mechanisms are used.

11. UPDATES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date.
